Frequently asked questions

We ask that you contact us to cancel your booking with as much notice as possible. We do not charge cancellation fees, unless your booking is for the Christmas period - for more information check our Christmas page HERE

Does my dog need to be vaccinated?

We charge by the number of dogs sharing a kennel per 24 hours.

If you drop off in the morning and collect the following morning, you will be charged for one 24 hour period. However if you drop off in the morning and collect the following afternoon, you will be charged for two 24 hour periods as you're now into the second 24 hour period.

Do I need to bring my dog bed?

How much does a booking cost?

Cancellations

No, you don't have to. We provide beds and bedding for all dogs while they stay with us. Although we do recommend you bring something small that can be machine washed that smells like home, a t-shirt or small blanket, for example. As this can help a nervous dog settle more quickly on their first stay.

Yes. All dogs boarding with us must have up-to-date vaccinations against Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis (Adenovirus) and Leptospirosis. Kennel Cough is not required but is recommended.

The above deseases are usually covered by DHP / DHPPI and L4 / L2 vaccinations.

When can I drop off or collect my dog?

Our drop off and collection times are;

9:00 - 12:00 & 14:00 - 18:00 on weekdays

10:00 - 12:00 & 16:00 - 18:00 on weekends and bank holidays.

Can I view the kennels before booking?

Yes, absolutely. Our viewings take place between 10:00-11:30 every day, and 14:00-15:30 on weekdays. Unfortunately we cannot accomodate an afternoon viewing on the weekend. To book a viewing, just call or email us.

Do I need to bring my dogs food?

We do stock a range of dry, wet and raw dog foods, so you can choose from one of our options. But if your dog has a sensitive stomach or is on a specific diet we do recommend you bring your own.

Can you administer medication to my dog?

Yes, provided you supply any medication along with instuctions on how to administer it. Contact us for more detailed information if you have any concerns.

Do you mix dogs?

We will never mix dogs from different households without written permission from the owners. Our exercise paddocks allow for safe, seperate interaction through the fences. This is to keep all dogs safe, reduce instances of aggression or accidental puppies.

Does my dog need to have trial stay?

This is your choice. A trial stay might be a benefit for some dogs, but not all require it. Contact us to discuss a trial stay or day care if you think your dog might require one.

Our rates are:

1 dog - £25

2 dogs - £40
